I was assigned a really weird task at work yesterday, with a due date of the end of the month (on Tuesday). I am to come up with my new job title. It makes sense, because my current title doesn’t even apply to what I do on a day-to-day basis. The weird thing is that in finding a new title, I don’t know what to include. I do so many different things as a part of my job, that I usually...

Friday Night
And I’m spending it by: studying for my Econ midterm I have to take tomorrow afternoon trying to figure out my class schedule for next semester looking up professors on ratemyprofessor.com so I don’t get stuck with nightmare professors I had the day off of work, and I’ve been studying all day. Now back to studying and spending money on all these new units for next...

anyone want to help me out?
I have an exam tomorrow night (yeah, halloween night and I’m in a classroom taking a test), and I really don’t want to study for it. Does anyone want to study cultural geography for me, write up a one-page summary of all the info covered, and read/memorize a case study on the food geography of the Great Plains region? Please? Anyone? Any takers?

so tired, and it’s just monday. and not even just from a busy day. it’s the kind of tired that comes from days and days and weeks and weeks of just being tired. something’s gotta give. i’m going to sleep, to try and keep that tired feeling away, if only for a few hours in the morning. - GPOY

What's the difference between a cat and a comma?
One has claws at the end of its paws and one is a pause at the end of a clause.

So, I’m about to go take a midterm in my Business Communications class tonight, and I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to do so well on it. I’ve been so busy working, that I forgot until last night that the midterm was scheduled for tonight. So I took the practice midterm last night, and I didn’t do so well. And I just got home from work, and I have to eat dinner...

So, I know that a little bit ago, I said that I would blog more…and well, I didn’t. Sorry. It’s funny how life gets in the way sometime. I’ve actually had a half-drafted blog post saved on my personal computer for a few days now, but haven’t been able to finish it. Had a few different ideas for blog postings, but not enough time to write them. I’ll try harder,...

So, lately my tumblr has just been a mass re-blog, with less than frequent little quips from my day. I have been so busy - it’s ridiculous. But I want to try and blog more. Hoping that in doing so, it’ll be a stress reliever, and help me long term. I just hope I’ll be able to consistently find time to do so. I work 40+ hours a day at my “9-to-5” (really my...

Interesting Package...
One of my independent contractors just sent me a box of tomatoes, because he lives in wine country. Uhm, how about you send me wine instead?  It was literally a box, with about 10 tomatoes on the bottom, some newspaper, more tomatoes, another layer of newspaper, then more tomatoes. Finally, a not on the top stating that the tomatoes best not be cooked or refrigerated, as that would deplete these...

matthewgraygublermeme: I know Thomas Gibson said they had some competition.  Going up against Harry’s Law, Modern Family, X-Factor - they are all in the same time slot.

Yesterday night, in my Business Communications class, another student used the word (or non-word?) “conversate” as in, “I find it hard to conversate with others in a group setting.” In a communications class. Conversate. CONVERSATE. dead.

Eye Appointment! Yay!
Yes, you read that right. There is, indeed, a “Yay!” after the words “Eye Appointment.” You see, for the last 8 years maybe, I had an eye doctor that I didn’t like at all. Now - I’ve found the cutest little mom-and-pop shop except the “pop” is the loveable older grandpa that you just want to hug when you see him. And, I finally get a new pair of...

I should have known better than to watch 2 episodes of Criminal Minds right before bed, when I am in this big empty house alone. Well, with my cat. But still alone. Goob! Save me!

I have a radiology appointment in the morning, and I’m super nervous about it. I was going to write a post about it, but I think that in doing that, it might freak me out about it even more. So, I guess that is all for now. We’ll see how tomorrow goes.
